Product Description
(and some comments about bamboo in general)
I handcraft each fountain using only the finest Moso and Tonkin bamboo available. I personally select all the materials, sometimes spending hours going through a huge warehouse full of poles searching for the perfect specimen...That being said, working with bamboo is not the same as building with dimensional lumber. Each piece of bamboo is unique- therefore every fountain is one of a kind. Whereas the design is the same, size and appearance vary slightly. In addition, I offer two styles- style "A" (the most popular) varies in size from 18'' to 30'' tall and about the same width; style "B", runs about 30" for the upright/spout piece and 18'' for the other piece. Style "B" is a bit easier to construct and the slightly lower price reflects that. If desired, you may request "larger" or "smaller" (within the stated size range) to fit your needs. I can also do special orders if you want a really big one (or a little tiny one). NOW, a word about the nature of bamboo. It is prone to splitting. The good news is that the bamboo I use is harvested in China and Indonesia, then shipped by freighter, then further dried in storage so that by the time I get it, most (if not all) the cracking has occurred (and I of course don't buy the cracked stuff). Also, when building the fountains, I orient the split-prone areas so that should it happen it will not affect the workings of the fountain, nor will it be visually obvious. That being said, there may be small cracks present, and I cannot 100% guarantee others won't occur. Such is life. However, should there be catastrophic failure within the first year I will replace it free of charge, less shipping expenses.

Installation Instructions/Operating Tips
Due to shipping container constraints, your fountain will arrive partially disassembled- however, because no glue or fasteners are used in construction its just a matter of pushing the pieces back together. It might take you a minute or so...
